Before submission we strongly recommend you take a moment to carefully read our content guidelines.
If you fail to observe the requirements then your application will be denied, regardless of your talent.

Candidates must provide two pictures (1 head and 1 body shot), a video clip and CV. To submit your pictures,
use the corresponding fields at the bottom of the form. Submit CV data in the indicated fields. All fields
are required, with the exception of "Additional skills". Upload your video to YouTube. Next, paste the url of the video
in the corresponding field.
Pictures: color, quality promotional pictures in a studio setting that are not larger than 5 MB each. The picture you submit for your head
shot should be a frontal view, no profiles, that clearly shows your face. The picture you submit for your 3/4 or
full length body shot should clearly show your figure. Use costumes and poses that do not interfere with our
ability to see your figure. Candid, 'backstage', or live action shots will not be accepted.
CV: most fields are self explanatory, however please note the following - under dance education indicate the
name of school/studio, its city and country and the years you attended. Avoid vague statements like, "studied
Jazz for ten years". Likewise for work experience, list the dates employed, the city and country of performance,
the name of venue and your role. Lastly, you can use the optional "Additional Skills" field to mention
proficiency in other dance forms, singing, other performing arts, awards won and other supporting data.
Video: footage can be 'raw' (filmed in your rehearsal/studio space), it can be footage of performances OR a
combination of both. What is crucial is that we see strong technical control, jumps, leaps, turns, extensions,
across the floor combination's, battlements, pirouettes (jazz, classical or en attitude), and extensions with
dynamic or lyrical technical control. It is equally important that the footage demonstrate your abilities as a
performer; strong stage presence, charisma, the ability to emote, project and connect.
-
Jazz dancers: your video should contain three routines - lyrical jazz, Broadway jazz and contemporary pop. Each
routine should be one to two minutes in duration with combinations across the floor showing technique.
-
Ballroom dancers: your video should contain Samba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive. Each
routine should be one to two minutes in duration.
-
Ballet dancers: Ideally, your showreel should be just yourself and must include: classical ballet, a
short jazz combination and any specialist skills. Pointe work for girls is an advantage, as is acrobatic work
for boys.
